Economic Recovery May be a Reality After All!
After attending yesterday’s annual Economic Summit hosted by the Washington County Economic Development Council, it feels as though there is some momentum starting to build in the economic recovery of Washington County. With the new St. George Municipal Airport opening and several large value-added companies such as Czarnowski and Litehouse Foods joining our ranks, it feels as though there may be a light at the end of the tunnel. Also at the Economic Summit, several real estate professionals shared a feeling of optimism that we are most likely at the bottom of this “down market” in the commercial real estate sector, and may be embarking on an uphill climb towards recovery and falling vacancy rates. Let’s look forward to a new and improved market in 2011!
